Mindfulness for Health

October 2021

8 week specialist Mindfulness training
for people living with
chronic health conditions and pain.

Is your health or pain condition controlling your life?
Learn how to use Mindfulness and self compassion skills to successfully navigate your health challenges and get back to being you.

Led by Breathworks Mindfulness teacher and former physiotherapist Kate Beynon, with the support of experienced movement therapist Anna Dagnall, this carefully crafted program will teach you how to use Mindfulness, meditation and self compassion to successfully manage pain, illness, anxiety & fatigue in your daily life.

You may not be able to change your circumstances but with Mindfulness training, you can change how you respond to whatever your health condition throws at you and significantly improve your quality of life.

This is a small group course (intentionally limited to 8 participants) based in a private studio nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside. The tranquil setting and limited group size helps to provide a safe space in which we can share in each other's experience whilst also meeting individual learning needs.

Clinical trials have shown that Mindfulness meditation can be as effective as prescription painkillers, and can enhance the body’s natural healing systems. Mindfulness can also reduce the anxiety, depression, irritability, exhaustion and insomnia that can arise from chronic pain and illness.

On this Breathworks accredited course you can be confident that you are learning some of the most effective evidence based skills to manage whatever your body throws at you.  For more information on Breathworks click here.

"I am calmer and I feel I can listen better to myself and others. I have learnt to release the physical tension, the holding of my breath and body, just by giving up to gravity. All of the concepts have been so interesting and enlightening and I feel this is just the beginning of a long journey with Mindfulness"
